Soak several handfuls of organic almonds in filtered water all day.

Throw away soak water and repeat, ie soak overnight.

Discard soak water again and pop off brown skins while they are soft.

Whizz up in blender with minimum filtered water and then choose EITHER to make some almond cream by taking out about half the thick mixture. Keep in fridge til you want to eat it with berries, or use it to thicken an energy soup.

OR add more water to make a thinner “milk”.

Some folks strain this to remove the remaining fibre, which the worms in your compost bin will enjoy.
